I know we are all too busy this time of the year and maybe always; however, this magazine is inspirational and worthy of reading. Put it on your list of things to check out if you have not done so already. You might enjoy these video poems.
Oh my goodness! Had I seen these but 5 days ago I could have changed a poetry writing assignment for my sophomores! This is great, I've done similar things with poetry, but had the students document their poetry with self-taken photographs. This takes it to a new level! I think I'll offer extra credit for the last assignment if students put their poem in a digital/video format. I'll also incorporate it next semester into a group of "possible projects" grid that students will have the opportunity to choose from.
